So for the new year, I visited this beautifully lit house in Vermont South, the winner in Victoria of the Christmas lights competition, and the best private decorations I have ever seen, Sue and I wandered in amongst the displays with many other happy people for the last night of lights for the season. It was well worth a few photos even though the mosquitos found Sue's arms tasty.The light in the sky is the moon, strategically positioned above the tree, but with a long exposure, it loses it's shape and looks more like a star.

I felt sorry for the owner in some way though, when they get their electricity bill. Outstanding work. We'll be visiting this address next Christmas for sure.
